Partial journal describing eleven days of voyage on the "Bengal", beginning after three days of severe gale-force winds and ending entering Bass Strait. Letter takes up sailing along the coast of New South Wales, entering Sydney Cove, observing and describing Aborigines, and then on board the brig "William" bound for Launceston.
